Sunset Horizons

Named after a track on the Kingdom Hearts OST, but the song doesn't really fit, so I won't link it. lol

I have this huge sheet full of Pokemon doodles (which I'll post when the page is completely full) that I've been doing between stuff as stress relief, and I loved the Pikachu one, so I did something with it.

Truth be told, the little mouse is one of my favorite pokemon, though I don't like the anime art. The Pikachu in the Adventures manga and the other special (like The Tale of Electric Pikachu) is much cuter in my opinion.

But this is a Pikachu I've always has doodled. His name is Oliver, he's always got that green bandanna on and has blue eyes. He has a twin sister Olivia, who's evolved into a Raichu.

I've always wanted to do a Mystery Dungeon comic, since those were actually some of my favorite games (playing as a Pokemon was always a dream of mine when I was a kid, so when the games came out I was really excited. lol), so maybe one day I'll do a mini comic or something.

I haven't done a serious Pokemon fanart in years, so I figured it's about time I do one, plus I think Pokemon are really fun to draw. The beach scene is inspired by the ocean area in the PMD: Explorers of Time/Darkness where you meet your partner.
